Headcount
Headcount: A total number of people, especially the number of people employed in a particular organization. For example: based on how fast we’re growing, we need to increase our headcount by 5% over the next 6 months.
To accrue (formal)
To accrue (formal): To accumulate over time; most commonly used when referring to the interest, income, or expenses of an employee. For example (e-mail from employee to manager): I would like to go on holiday, how much annual leave have I accrued?
Loner
Loner: someone who doesn’t like to spend time with others. For example: John is a bit of a loner , he’s not a very good team player

Bonus scheme: policy which clarifies the rules about the rewarding system in a company. It tipically includes target and key performance indicators (KPIs). You can also say reward scheme.
Performance-related pay
Performance-related pay: salary system whereby employees are paid based on their performance over a certain period of time. You can also say merit-based increase.
To put someone on the spot
To put someone on the spot: putting too much pressure on someone; making someone feel uncomfortable. For example: my manager is putting me on the spot; this is why I decided to leave this company
